Advance Voting Rights

Filling out survey on paper with pen

Did you know that in most communities, voter apathy grows with each national election denying full participation in the electoral process?

The National Center for Community Strategies encourages all communities to actively promote voting and voter rights. Not too long ago, hundreds of thousands of Americans did not have the right to vote and fought hard for this right. It’s important to uphold this practice as a tribute to many of our ancestors who did not have the ability to vote.

The National Center for Community Strategies works to:

  • Reduce restrictions on voters such as harsh registration deadlines and racial discrimination
  • Increase voter turnout at national and state-wide elections
  • Diversify voters by promoting individuals of all genders and races to vote
