Equality & Social Justice

Did you know that in more than half the neighborhoods across America 1-in-3 persons between the ages of 18 and 35 are serving time or on parole?

We partner with national and community leaders, organizations, and coalitions. Working together, we identify and expand opportunities to promote educational and employment opportunities, enhanced mental health services, and increase public safety. We also work to establish a fair criminal justice system ensuring that people in jail are only those who pose a risk to others.

We are inspired by the growing movement to address over incarceration by changing the way America thinks about our criminal justice system and the over usage of jails, as well as its impact on communities and residents. Our innovative ideas and programs:

  • Develop a range of policy solutions based on community models that work in reducing crime, incarceration and recidivism
  • Support religious and lay leaders, cultural and community leaders, and families directly impacted by crime and incarceration in developing strategies that work in each local community.
  • Provide technical assistance, project management, quantifiable measurements, and train-the-trainer support.
